These activities can be used in many contexts and in many subjects to get students to understand, remember and learn through the language.
Listen & SequenceStudents work in small groups to describe images that are unknown to the rest of the group. After hearing about each image, students try to sequence the images to create a story. |
Snakes & LaddersStudents move through a snakes & ladders board created by the teacher saying each vocabulary word they pass as they move. Teachers can add higher level questions or requests on some squares in order to create a more challenging version of the game. |
I SpyStudents take turns describing different images to each other. |
